Oriental Education Society's ORIENTAL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (Affiliation to University of Mumbai and NCTE) Sector No.2, Plot NO.3,4,5, Near Sanpada Railway Station, Sanpada (W), Navi Mumbai – 400705 __________________________________________________________________________ Book Exhibition A.Y 2023-24 Date 09/03/2024 Oriental Education Society’s Oriental College of Education Sanpada Book Exhibition was held on 09/03/2024. We had invited Himalaya Publication and Lead India book seller for Book Exhibition at our campus. Book Exhibition inauguration was done by the Principal Dr.Sangeeta Nath in the presence, Librarian Mr. Salim Dhanse & Library Committee Members, faculty members, Non- Teaching staff and students.For this exhibition the books of various subjects and types were kept. Such as history, geography, economy, mathematics, science, physics, zoology, chemistry, botany, computer science, English autobiography, novels, drama, poetry, as well as competitive exam books etc. books create a good moral human being as well as create transformation in human life about future. This awareness is created by Department of Library. Department of Library always tries to enhance student’s knowledge about human personality development. It also provides information about social, cultural, education, political, historical, and scientific section of life for personality development students can read autobiography and biography of various authors, scientist and great heroes, etc. Also encouraging was the fact that there were many recommendations for book purchases from many of them. The objective was to inculcate the reading habit in students. The event was a great success. The Book exhibition was successful due to the contribution of all professors, non- teaching staff the members of library and all students.
